Disclosed is a capsule endoscope comprising a capsule shell (1) as well as a lens (4) and a battery (6) packed therein. The capsule endoscope uses the central axis thereof as the center and the weight of one half of the capsule is greater than that of the other half, such that the capsule remains vertical when travelling through bodily fluids, and the direction of the lens is parallel to the running direction of the capsule.
