The device has elements (1) arranged in the ground on a same straight line, where each element comprises a vertical post (2) at which arms (3) are fixed. The arms of the two consecutive posts are provided with a maintaining unit that maintains a rope to receive branches of a climbing plant. Each arm is maintained in an upward position by a tie rod (4) e.g. flexible cable, fixed at the post above a fixation point i.e. hinged joint (5), of the arms and around the arms in its median zone, where each arm is formed of a square tubular section and closed on its length.
