PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical instrument capable of stably bending a bending section by preventing foreign matter from being mixed or remaining because the foreign matter deteriorates the characteristics of bending to a frictional engagement section.SOLUTION: Bending wires 24i (i=u, d, l and r) forming a pulling section having a distal end fixed to a bending section 7 is such that the wires are wound around C-rings 29i on the outer circumference of a pulley 28 to be rotated by a motor 27 provided in an operation section 3, a handy side end portion of the wire is coupled to a suspending frame 22 on the lower end of a joystick 21 forming an operation input section, the joystick 21 is operated while being inclined to reduce the dimension and enable a sealing member 32 to plug the opening of the C-rings 29i to be in a frictional engagement with the pulley 28, and thus, foreign matter can be prevented from being mixed to prevent deterioration of the function of frictional engagement.COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT【課題】摩擦係合部への湾曲特性を劣化させる異物の混入や残留を防止して、湾曲部を安定して湾曲することができる医療機器を提供する。【解決手段】湾曲部7に先端が固定された牽引部を構成する湾曲ワイヤ24i(i=u,d,l,r)は操作部3内に設けたモータ27により回転されるプーリ28の外周のCリング29iに巻回された後、操作入力部を構成するジョイスティック21の下端の吊り枠22の端部に手元側端部が連結され、ジョイスティック21を傾倒操作することにより、縮径にしてプーリ28と摩擦係合の状態にされるCリング29iの開口をシール部材32により閉塞し、摩擦係合の機能を低下させる異物の混入を防止する。【選択図】図1
