The present invention relates to a detachable power transmission unit and a wheelchair having the same. The power transmission unit comprises a connecting housing which is connected to wheel supporting units at both sides of the lower part of the rear side of the wheelchair； a shock absorber which is extended from the center of the connecting housing to the rear； an electric wheel which is connected and fixed to the shock absorber through a support and is in contact with the ground； a driving motor unit which is connected to an axis of the electric wheel in order to rotate the electric wheel； a secondary battery which is fixated and installed on the front of the connecting housing； and a control unit which is connected to the driving motor unit and the secondary battery with or without wire in order to control the operation and power of the driving motor unit. Therefore, the power transmission unit can be easily installed in a general low-cost wheelchair, is light-weighted with a simple structure, and has the easily-detachable power transmission unit which makes it highly portable for a long-distance travel.본 발명은 탈장착 동력 전달장치 및 이를 구비한 휠체어에 관한 것으로, 휠체어 후면 하부의 양쪽 바퀴 지지부에 장착 연결되는 연결 하우징； 상기 연결 하우징의 중심부에서 후방으로 연장되는 쇼크업소버(shock obsorber)； 상기 쇼크업소버와 지지대를 통해 고정 연결되고, 지면과 접촉되는 하나의 전동바퀴； 상기 전동바퀴의 축과 연결되어 상기 전동바퀴를 회동시키는 구동 모터부； 상기 연결 하우징 전방에 고정 장착된 2차 전지； 및 상기 구동 모터부 및 2차 전지와 유선 또는 무선으로 연결되어 상기 구동 모터부의 구동 및 파워를 제어하는 제어부를 포함한다.이와 같은 본 발명은 일반적인 보급형 휠체어에 용이하게 장착할 수 있고, 구성이 간단하고 가벼울 뿐만 아니라, 탈 부착이 용이하여 장거리 이동에 따른 휴대성이 높은 동력 전달장치 및 이가 착착된 휠체어를 제공하게 된다.
