PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suitably confirm a photographed image and perform observation in various kinds of observation modes by means of an ophthalmic photographing apparatus body.
SOLUTION: The ophthalmic photographing apparatus includes: an apparatus body for housing an observation optical system for observing an eye to be tested and a photographic optical system for photographing the eye to be tested a drive means which moves the apparatus body with respect to the eye to be tested a release switch for outputting a trigger signal for starting photographing a joystick which has a rotatable knob for receiving an operation signal for driving the apparatus body in a vertical direction and is used for alignment of the eye to be tested and the apparatus body and a storage means which stores the photographed image photographed by the photographic optical system. The ophthalmic photographing apparatus further includes: a display monitor which has a touch panel, displays operation buttons made of predetermined graphics, and displays an image of the eye to be tested which is obtained by the observation optical system and the photographic optical system and a display control means which controls the photographed image displayed on the touch panel based on the operation signal coming from the rotatable knob.
