The invention relates to a testingsystem for carrying out blood sugar testswith a diagnostic strip cassette (12), whichcomprises a wind-up analytic test strip (50)for detecting an analyte and a cassette housing(48) accommodating the test strip (50),and a testing device (10), which has a devicehousing (16) for inserting and removing thestrip cassette (12) and a measuring unit (22)for recording the analyte on the test strip(50). According to the invention, it is proposedthat the strip cassette (12) can be detachablyfixed by positioning elements (24) on aplatform (20) mounted in the device housing(16), and that the measuring unit (22) is rigidlyfixed on the platform (20) or can bebrought into engagement therewith.
