The present invention relates to Brassica lee ssp. namai cv. e-ssamchoo, a new variety of plant, and a method for breeding the same. Unlike the existing Chinese cabbage, the Brassica lee ssp. namai has no hairs on the surface of leaves, and the leaves are crispy. The Brassica lee ssp. namai has a fresh flavor of Chinese cabbage, a sweet flavor of cabbage, and a spicy taste of mustard with a good texture, thereby being able to be used as an ingredient for vegetable wrap, green vegetable juice, salad, kimchi, and soup so being useful in the breeding industry.본 발명은 신종식물 'e-쌈추' 및 그 육종방법에 관한 것으로, 기존의 쌈추와는 달리 엽표면에 모용(털)이 없는 것을 특징으로 하며, 엽면은 아삭아삭하며, 배추의 시원한 맛과 양배추의 단맛 및 갓의 매콤한 맛이 어우러져 식감이 우수하여 쌈채소, 녹즙, 샐러드, 김치 및 국거리용으로 이용할 수 있으므로 육종산업상 유용하다.
