PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet-covering apparatus which is used for a seed tape, does not form holes in a state pulled out from a sheet reel, forms the holes just before a sheet member is laid on cultivated land with a land roller, and can thereby previously prevent the breakage of the hole peripheral portions of the sheet member.SOLUTION: This sheet-covering apparatus 1 which is used for the seed tape, is attached to a travelable truck type machine frame, synchronously delivers the sheet member P together with the seed tape, cuts opening formation-programmed portions, and covers the sheet on the seed tape with the land roller 6 comprises the sheet reel 3 on which the sheet member P is rolled, guide means 34A, 34B for guiding the sheet member P to a cutting position, an auxiliary roller 36 disposed at the cutting position, and a cutter roller 35 disposed in a state capable of being separated from or contacted with the auxiliary roller 36.
