PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular seat wherein a seat body has a shorter free running distance with the load of a seat belt and forward/backward movement of the seat body is not obstructed.
SOLUTION: The vehicular seat comprises: an engaged part 62 of the seat body 10 an engaging member 72 which is provided on the side of a sliding base 44 in the state of being movable between a restriction position and a non-restriction position, is moved to the restriction position when the seat body 10 is in a backward movement position to enter a position opposed to the engaged part 62 of the seat body 10 in the direction of forward moving the seat body 10 from the backward upper side, and also is moved to the non-restriction position to evacuate to a position not opposed to the engaged part 62 an energizing member 76 for energizing the engaging member 72 toward the restriction position and a guide part 90 for moving the engaging member 72 to the non-restriction position against the force of the energizing means 76 by moving the sliding base 40 a predetermined distance forward from the backward movement position to the backward movement close position.
