PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production promoter which can promote a production of filaggrin which is converted to NMF in a case of direct application to the skin, and to provide an external preparation for skin containing the same, and additionally to provide a production promoter, which can further promote a production of filaggrin by using sericin and other materials together, and to provide an external preparation for skin containing the same.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a filaggrin production promoter containing sericin as an active ingredient.
