The invention relates to a wound protection device for patients with difficult-to-heal chronic ulcers on lower limbs. The device is in the form of a circular or oval cover having on the top part a domed mesh with multiple holes to allow oxygen to penetrate. The bottom end of the device has an edge with a slight anatomical curve to allow it to sit better on the area of skin where the ulcer is located and to prevent the pressure from causing discomfort. Ledit rebord s'ajuste à un support inférieur qui maintient le dispositif en place de manière à recouvrir les plaies, tenu par une bande élastique.
