PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition for the oral cavity, which has excellent effect of inhibiting the fixing of a bacillus in the oral cavity to a tooth plane and durability thereof, and also has a satisfactory feeling of use, and to provide an agent for inhibiting the fixing of an oral cavity disease-causing bacillus to a tooth plane.SOLUTION: The composition for the oral cavity contains: (A) alkyldiaminoethylglycine (B) a cetylpyridinium salt and (C) hydroxyethylcellulose dimethyldiallyl ammonium chloride wherein the mass ratio of components in the (A)/(B) is 0.1 to 10. Further, the composition for the oral cavity is blended with (D) polyoxyethylene-hardened castor oil with the ethylene oxide average addition mole number of 60 to 100.
