PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting optical system for an endoscope with a simple structure which can easily improve the efficiency of lighting by exiting the light to an area corresponding to an observation area distorted due to lense distortion, and to provide the endoscope having the lighting optical system.SOLUTION: A lighting optical system 35 irradiates a light exited from a light source 37 on a test subject 13.
