The present invention relates to a novel material which is harmless to human bodies and has excellent biocompatibility, and a composition comprising the same as an effective component. More particularly, the novel material has an excellent effect to regenerate skin by enhancing elasticity and activity of fibroblasts in the skin and promoting the regeneration of dead skin cells. Also, the novel material is structurally stable, and can be stored at room temperature. Disclosed is a skin composition comprising a complex of keratin and epigallocatechin-3-gallate (EGCG) as an effective component.본 발명은 피부 각질 재생을 촉진하고 피부내 섬유아세포의 탄성 및 활성을 향상시켜 피부 재생에 우수한 효과가 있고, 또한 구조적으로 안정하여 상온 보관이 가능하며, 또한 인체에 유해하지 않고 우수한 생체 적합성을 갖는 신규 원료 및 이를 유효성분으로 포함하는 조성물에 관한 것이다. 본 발명은, 케라틴(Keratin)과 에피갈로카테킨-3-갈레이트(EGCG)의 복합체를 유효성분으로 포함하는 피부용 조성물을 개시한다.
