An apparatus for correcting a visual field according to an embodiment of the present invention includes: a visual field evaluation unit for determining a visual field of a patient with a visual impairment and classifying a visual field disorder pattern of the visually impaired patient； An image acquisition unit acquiring an image in a direction that the patient with vision impairment is looking at； An image editing unit that edits the image in the gaze direction obtained by the image acquisition unit so that it can be transmitted through an intact field of view of the patient with vision impairment； And a display unit that provides the image edited by the image editing unit to the patient with vision impairment.본 발명의 일 실시예에 따른 시야 교정 장치는, 시야장애 환자의 결손된 시야 영역과 결손되지 않은 시야 영역을 판단하고, 상기 시야장애 환자의 시야장애 패턴을 분류하는 시야장애 평가부； 상기 시야장애 환자가 주시하는 방향의 영상을 획득하는 영상 획득부； 상기 영상 획득부에 의해 획득한 주시 방향의 영상이 상기 시야장애 환자의 결손되지 않은 시야 영역을 통해 전달될 수 있도록 편집하는 영상 편집부； 및 상기 영상 편집부에 의해 편집된 영상을 상기 시야장애 환자에게 제공하는 디스플레이부를 포함할 수 있다.
