<；P>；PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a guide wire which has excellent visual recognizability by a fiberscope inside a body, has low frictional resistance with tubes such as a catheter and cannula, and is excellent in workability. <；P>；SOLUTION: In this guide wire 10, the outer periphery of a core wire is sheathed with a resin membrane having at least in part a convex/concave spiral pattern 41 classified by color in a plurality of colors.
