The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method for supplying water to an automatic feed managing substrate wherein feed is supplied from a feed storage house into a feed supply box (20) at an upper portion of a feeder through an upper supply pipe (11), feed is received from the feed supply box (20) an upper portion to be supplied to a managing substrate (30) at the lowermost portion, and a water supply pipe (80) is provided as a separate line at the upper portion of the managing substrate so as to allow water to be supplied together with feed, wherein the managing substrate comprises a shallow plant portion (31) and a deep concave portion (32), a valve is provided at an upper portion of the water supply pipe, and a lower portion of the water supply pipe (80) is provided at a concave portion (32) of the managing substrate (30).
