The invention provides an ecological box and an air purifying system capable of improving environmental air quality. The ecological box includes a culture box, a culture environment control mechanism, an air quality monitoring unit and a ventilation control mechanism. The culture environment control mechanism controls the environmental condition in a culture space. The air quality monitoring unit senses the amount of specific harmful substance contained in the air outside the culture box. When the amount of harmful substance detected by the air quality monitoring unit exceeds a harmful threshold, the ventilation control mechanism forces the culture space to be ventilated by the outside air.
