PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vascular endothelium function testing instrument which can prevent the expansion of a cuff wound around a part of a living body from hindering the measurement of the diameter of a blood vessel.SOLUTION: The vascular endothelium function testing instrument 30 has an elbow supporting member 86 receiving and supporting the vicinity of the elbow of the living body 14 and a dorsum manus supporting member 88 receiving and supporting the dorsum manus of the living body 14, and floats the cuff 74 wound around the forearm of the living body 14 into a space during examination and measurement. Consequently, since the expansion of the cuff 74 appropriately restrains the forearm from moving, a relative movement is prevented from occurring between an ultrasonic probe 12 supported by a sensor holding device 10 due to the movement of the forearm associated with the expansion of the cuff 74, and the brachial artery 20 to which the probe is applied and a stable image of a blood vessel can be obtained and the occurrence of hindrance to the measurement of the diameter of the blood vessel can be suitably solved.COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT【課題】 生体の一部に巻回されたカフの膨張によって血管径の測定に支障が発生することがない血管内皮機能検査装置を提供する。【解決手段】 血管内皮機能検査装置30によれば、生体14の肘付近を受けてそれを支持する肘支持部材86と、生体14の手背を受けてそれを支持する手背支持部材88とが備えられて、検査測定中において生体14の前腕部に巻回されたカフ74を空間に浮かすようにされていることから、カフ74の膨張による前腕部の動きが好適に抑制されるので、そのカフ74の膨張に関連した前腕部の動きに起因してセンサ保持装置10によって支持されている超音波プローブ12とそれが当てられている上腕動脈20との間に相対移動が発生することが防止され、安定した血管画像が得られて血管径の測定に支障が発生することが好適に解消される。。【選択図】 図1
