PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method which enables to plant, culture and harvest lotus roots in a land such as a field or a made land, and to provide a culture apparatus therefore.SOLUTION: The method for culturing lotus roots in a shallow floor culture tank includes setting a shallow floor culture tank of pool shape, which is capable of storing culture water, so as to protrude upward from a ground surface, flattening the inner bottom surface of the culture tank, charging culture soil in the culture tank so as to have a depth of about 8 to 20 cm, storing culture water on the upper surface of the culture soil so as to have an arbitrary depth, and then planting, culturing and harvesting the lotus roots in the culture tank.COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT【課題】 本発明は、蓮根の栽培を畑や造成地などの陸地で植え付け、栽培、収穫することを可能にする栽培方法とその栽培装置を提供することを課題とする。【解決手段】 地表面より上方に突設して栽培用水を貯留可能とする底の浅いプール状の栽培槽を設置し、該栽培槽内の底面を平坦状にして栽培土壌を8~20cm程度の深さに充填し、該栽培土壌の上面に任意深さに栽培用水を貯水することが可能にした浅床の栽培施設とし、この栽培槽で蓮根を植え付け、栽培、収穫することを可能にしたもの。【選択図】図1
