PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cultivation medium allowing efficient raising of hydroponic seedlings and obtaining the excellent growth of seedlings even if the medium is washed out of plant roots to transplant the seedlings into a seedling raising pot, and to provide a method for raising the hydroponic seedlings, and the hydroponic seedlings.SOLUTION: A cultivation medium of hydroponic seedlings is obtained by adding water to an inorganic plant raising carrier excluding soil, and to a water-swelling pellet-like plant raising medium containing a water-absorbing resin. A method for raising seedlings using this cultivation medium, and the hydroponic seedlings are also provided. As for the water-absorbing resin, electric conductivity of hydrous gel when 1 pt.wt. of water-absorbing resin absorbs 100 pts.wt. of 25°C ion exchange water is 0-3.0 mS/cm, and the water absorption magnification of the 25°C ion exchange water of the water-absorbing resin is 80-1,000.COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT【課題】 水耕栽培用苗を効率よく育成でき、植物の根から培地を洗い落して育苗ポットに移植しても苗の生育が良好である栽培培地、水耕栽培用苗の育成方法、水耕栽培用苗を提供する。【解決手段】 水耕栽培用苗の栽培培地であって、土を除く無機質系植物育成用担体および下記吸水性樹脂を含む水膨潤性のペレット状植物育成用媒体に水を加えてなる栽培培地であり、この栽培培地を用いて育成する方法、水耕栽培用苗である。吸水性樹脂:吸水性樹脂1重量部を25℃のイオン交換水100重量部に吸水させた時の含水ゲルの電気伝導率が0~3.0mS/cmであり、吸水性樹脂の25℃のイオン交換水の吸水倍率が80~1000倍である。
