The present invention relates to a method for preparing a herbal composition having an increased fat-soluble polyphenols content, a herbal composition prepared thereby, and uses thereof. The herbal composition having an increased fat-soluble polyphenols content, was confirmed to have a significantly increased content of a fat-soluble polyphenol including decursin compared to herbal compositions of comparative examples. More notably, the herbal composition showed antioxidant action, immune cell activation effect and inhibition effect on cancer cell growth, and a significant decrease to normal levels of nephrotoxicity and hepatotoxicity induced by the anticancer drug, cisplatin, and further showed a significantly higher alleviating effect on radiation-induced loss of intestinal crypt, compared to the herbal compositions of comparative examples. Therefore, the herbal composition having increased fat-soluble polyphenols content can be beneficially used as a composition for treating cancer, an anti-cancer supplement, a composition for enhancing immune function, a protective composition and a composition for preventing the side effects of cancer treatment.본 발명은 지용성 폴리페놀 성분이 증가된 생약 조성물 제조방법, 상기방법으로 제조된 생약 조성물, 및 이의 용도에 관한 것으로, 상기 지용성 폴리페놀 함량이 증가된 생약 조성물은 비교예의 생약 조성물과 비교하여 데커신(decursin)을 포함하는 지용성 폴리페놀 함량이 현저하게 증가하였고, 더욱 유의적인 항산화 활성, 면역세포 활성화 효과 및 암세포 생장 억제 효과를 나타내었으며, 항암제인 시스플라틴에 의해 유발되는 신장 독성 및 간 독성을 정상 수준으로 현저하게 경감시키고, 방사선 조사에 의한 소장움(intestinal crypt) 소실에 대해서도 비교예의 생약 조성물에 비해 유의적으로 더 큰 경감 효과를 나타냄으로써, 상기 지용성 폴리페놀 함량이 증가된 생약 조성물은 암 치료용 조성물, 항암 보조제, 면역기능 증강용 조성물, 생체 방호용 조성물 및 암치료 부작용 방지용 조성물로 유용하게 사용될 수 있다.
