PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a walking support machine for supporting natural walking of a person by being mounted on the person.SOLUTION: A walking support machine for supporting the walking of a person to be supported by accelerating the movement of one leg with the movement of the other leg of the person to be supported himself/herself includes: one passive leg which has a thigh part and a lower leg part relatively rotating though a knee joint, and further has a waist joint for making the passive leg rotate a mounting fixture for mounting the passive leg on the other leg of the person to be supported. The mounting fixture has a waist mounting fixture for mounting the passive leg on the waist of the person to be supported.
