CONSTITUTION: A side rail ascending and descending structure for a bed for the medical treatment includes upper and lower frames(110, 120), vertical rods, and a side rail locking unit. The upper and lower frames are installed on the upper and lower sides of side rails. The vertical rods are installed in between the upper and lower frames in multiple stages for ascending and descending the side rails. The side rail locking unit is installed on the upper and lower frames, and the side rails for locking and releasing the side rails. The vertical rods include hollow lower vertical rods, and upper vertical rods inserted and separated from the lower vertical rods.본 발명은 의료용 침대의 사이드레일 승하강 구조에 관한 것으로서, 의료용 침대의 양측면에 구비된 사이드레일을 다단으로 원활하게 승강 및 하강시킴은 물론 상기의 사이드레일을 견고하게 고정하도록 하여 상기 다단으로 승하강되는 사이드레일에 의하여 의료용 침대에 환자가 용이하게 오르거나 내리도록 할 뿐만 아니라 침대에서 환자의 낙상 등과 같은 안전사고의 위험을 미연에 방지하도록 한 것이다. 이를 위해, 본 발명은 메인프레임과 상, 하면 지지프레임 및, 환자의 낙상을 방지하도록 하는 사이드레일이 구비된 의료용 침대에 있어서, 상기 사이드레일의 상, 하부측에 각각 설치되는 상, 하부 프레임과, 상기 사이드레일의 상부 프레임과 하부 프레임 사이에 복수개가 설치되어 상기 사이드레일을 승하강시키도록 여러 개의 봉이 다단으로 이루어진 수직봉과, 상기 상, 하면 지지프레임과 사이드레일에 구비되어 상기 다단으로 승하강하는 사이드레일을 록킹 및 해제하도록 하는 사이드레일 록킹수단으로 구성된 것이다.
