PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fundus photographing apparatus allowing alignment as viewing a fundus observation image and an anterior ocular segment observation image together, and allowing easy confirmation of a photographic state to a subject eye.SOLUTION: The fundus photographing apparatus includes: a fundus observation optical system receiving reflected light from a fundus illuminated with infrared light to obtain the fundus observation image an anterior ocular segment observation optical system obtaining the anterior ocular segment observation image by a second imaging element placed on an optical path divided by an optical path branch member disposed in the optical path of the fundus observation optical system a monitor on which a fundus observation screen displayed with the fundus observation image and an anterior ocular segment observation screen displayed with the anterior ocular segment observation image are displayed and display control means for changing over a display state of the monitor between on the fundus observation screen and on the anterior ocular segment observation screen. The display control means superposes and forms, on the fundus observation screen, a first display column formed as a display screen smaller than the fundus observation screen in a state that the fundus observation screen is displayed on the monitor, and electrically forms a reticle indicating a required pupil diameter in a prescribed position of the first display column.
