PURPOSE: An ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus is provided to prevent load concentration on a specific beam-generating device by pin-mapping conversion devices for signal transmission/reception on each beam-generating device.CONSTITUTION: A probe(500) transmits/receives an ultrasonic signal. A beam-generating device unit(700) provides a transmission signal to the probe through a multiplexer(600). The beam-generating device unit forms receive data by collecting a received signal provided from the probe. A conversion device array of the probe comprises a plurality of conversion devices. The beam-generating device unit comprises a first beam-generating device(710) and a second beam-generating device(720) which respectively include a plurality of signal channels. The conversion device for signal transmission among the conversion device array of the probe is pin-mapped to the first beam-generating device or the second beam-generating device.
