The present invention relates to a composition for making Jaljeera which has cholesterol lowering and glucose reducing properties said composition comprises dried powder of the pulp obtained from the fruit of the plant Moringa Oleifera in an amount of about 1 % to 20 % of the mass of the composition cinnamon powder in an amount of about I % to 20 % of the mass of the composition and jaljeera powder in an amount of about 5 % to about 95 % of the mass of the composition.
