PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air mat device capable of giving a high comfortable feeling according to a patients condition.SOLUTION: The air mat device 1 includes: an air mat 2 formed by juxtaposing a plurality of independent cells in the height direction of the patients sleeping posture pressure sensors 8 detecting the distribution of pressure applied to the respective cells an air supply and exhaust device 4 supplying air to each cell so as to have a predetermined reference internal pressure value and a control device 5 connected to the pressure sensors 8 and the air supply and exhaust device 4 and controlling the air supply and exhaust device 4 to adjust the internal pressure of each cell. The control device 5 includes a body motion propriety determining part 5b determining based on detection signals of the pressure sensors 8 whether the patient can turn over in bed.
