The invention concerns polyurethane (PUR) having an antithrombogenic coating, wherein the antithrombogenic coating comprises at least one antithrombogenic substance covalently bound to a surface of the PUR via at least two bonds, wherein a first of said bonds is an amide bond between the surface of the PUR and a polyethyleneinnine (PEI) and a second of said bonds is between the PEI and the antithrombogenic substance, wherein the surface of the PUR had been activated by use of a carbon dioxide plasma or a plasma modified by addition of carbon dioxide before the first of said bonds was formed.Linvention concerne un polyuréthane (PUR) ayant un revêtement antithrombogénique, où le revêtement antithrombogénique comprend au moins une substance antithrombogénique liée de manière covalente à une surface du PUR par le biais dau moins deux liaisons, où une première desdites liaisons est une liaison amide entre la surface du PUR et une polyéthylèneimine (PEI) et une seconde desdites liaisons est entre le PEI et la substance antithrombogénique, où la surface du PUR a été activée par lutilisation dun plasma de dioxyde de carbone ou un plasma modifié par addition de dioxyde de carbone avant que la première desdites liaisons soit formée.
