A multi-panel sterilization assembly is provided comprising a barrier panel formed from a permeable material having a barrier property, side wings that may have gripping portions for folding or unfolding the barrier panel, and a folding protection panel. The sterilization assembly has at least one pull tab attached to one end of the barrier panel to aid in deployment of the sterilization assembly after sterilization. At least one wing and / or pull tab is held in place relative to the barrier panel during manufacture using a transient adhesive that loses adhesive strength so that after sterilization the wing or pull tab is easily peeled away from the barrier panel.
