PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve such a situation that, though X-ray exposure dose of a patient is large caused by electric noise, it is compelled to lower X-ray energy, and to optimize imaging of calcification in which a linear absorption coefficient is relatively significantly high, and mass having a low linear absorption coefficient, which are characteristic items for X-ray mammography.SOLUTION: The X-ray equipment includes: an X-ray generator system that generates X-ray energy spectrum that is higher than an effective energy of an energy region of 10-23 keV, where at least a lower limit energy is 20 keV, continuously distributed across the energy range of from 20 keV to 37 keV, and has no characteristic X-ray peak waveform and an X-ray detector that regards the X-ray as a particle, responses to incidence of the particle for every pixel and outputs an electric signal corresponding to an energy that the particle has.COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT【課題】電気ノイズに起因して患者のX線被曝線量が大きいにも関わらず、X線エネルギを低くせざるを得ない状況を改善するとともに、X線マンモグラフィにおいて特徴的な事項である、線吸収係数が相対的に秀でて高い石灰化と線吸収係数が低い腫瘤とのイメージングの最適化を図る。【解決手段】X線撮像装置は、10~23keVのエネルギ領域の実効エネルギより高く、かつ、少なくとも下限のエネルギが20keVであり、この20keVから37keVまでのエネルギ範囲に渡って連続的に分布し且つ特性X線のピーク波形を持たないエネルギースペクトラムのX線を発生するX線発生系と、前記X線を粒子とみなし、画素毎に、その粒子の入射に呼応して当該粒子の持つエネルギに応じた電気信号を出力するX線検出器と、を備える。【選択図】 図2
