The invention presents a mechanical device (15) for universal propulsion for manual wheelchairs used by persons with reduced mobility. The device (15) is composed of a disc (8) which attaches to the handrail (10) fixed to the outside of the wheel (14) by fixing rods (9). It is also composed of a drive system (12) which allows the user to operate the wheel of the manual wheelchair (14) forwards and backwards by means of a lever (5) fixed on the disc (8). L'invention présente un dispositif mécanique (15) de propulsion universel pour fauteuil roulant manuel utilisé par des personnes à mobilité réduite. Le dispositif (15) est composé d'un disque (8) qui s'attache sur la main courante (10) fixée à l'extérieur de la roue (14) par des tiges de fixation (9). Il est composé également d'un système d'entraînement (12) qui permet à l'utilisateur d'actionner la roue du fauteuil roulant manuel (14) en avant et en arrière à l'aide d'un levier (5) fixé sur le disque (8).
