The present invention relates to a wheelchair brake system and, more specifically, relates to a wheelchair brake system which can prevent a falling accident that may be happened when users get on and off a wheelchair in advance by operating a brake in a locking state while no users are on the wheelchair, and controlling the brake to be automatically unlocked to be moved only when checking that the users get on the wheelchair.본 발명은 휠체어 브레이크 시스템에 관한 것이고, 더욱 상세하게는 탑승자가 휠체어에서 탑승하지 않는 상태에서는 브레이크가 잠금 상태로 작동하고, 탑승자가 휠체어에 탑승한 것이 확인된 경우에만 브레이크가 자동 해제되어 이동이 가능하게 제어됨으로써 휠체어를 타고 내릴 때 발생할 수 있는 낙상 안전 사고를 미연에 방지할 수 있는 휠체어 브레이크 시스템에 관한 것이다.
