PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and apparatus of hanging cultured shellfish through wings which stably holds cultured shellfish, even if the shellfish has any sticking article thereon and has any size and thickness, upon formation of a through-hole therein and binding, and easily performs certain and stable through-hole formation and binding.SOLUTION: The method of hanging cultured shellfish through wings includes: a positioning step of positioning at least one cultured shellfish a having wing to a prescribed position； a holding step of stably holding the at least one cultured shellfish by gripping only the wing of the positioned at least one cultured shellfish and pressing an edge of the at least one cultured shellfish； a through-hole formation step of forming a through-hole in a rope and the wing of the at least one cultured shellfish stably held； and a binding step of binding the at least one cultured shellfish to the rope by inserting a tie into the formed through-hole.【課題】どのような付着物状態及びどのような大きさ及び厚さの養殖貝であっても、貫通孔形成及び結束時に安定して保持することのでき、かつ確実かつ安定した貫通孔形成及び結束を容易に行うことのできる養殖貝耳吊り方法及び養殖貝耳吊り装置を提供する。【解決手段】養殖貝耳吊り方法は、耳部を有する少なくとも１つの養殖貝を所定位置に位置決めする位置決め工程と、位置決めした少なくとも１つの養殖貝の耳部のみを把持すると共に少なくとも１つの養殖貝の端縁を押さえることにより少なくとも１つの養殖貝を安定して保持する保持工程と、安定して保持した少なくとも１つの養殖貝の耳部とロープとに貫通孔を形成する貫通孔形成工程と、形成した貫通孔に結束具を挿通させて少なくとも１つの養殖貝をロープに結束する結束工程とを備えている。【選択図】図１５
