The present invention relates to a Newcastle disease virus and a vaccine for the Newcastle disease virus containing the same, specifically a Newcastle disease virus formed of an amino acid sequence in which a gene is denoted by sequence number 1 or an amino acid sequence having greater than 96% of homology with the amino acid sequence； a vaccine for the Newcastle disease virus containing the same； an antibody specifically recognizing the same； a composition for diagnosing the Newcastle disease virus, including the antibody； and a method and a kit for providing information regarding the diagnosis of the Newcastle disease virus. The Newcastle disease virus has lower pathogenicity than conventional commercialized vaccines for being safely used as a live vaccine for Newcastle disease, and has excellent titer, defensive rate, and continuity to be used as the vaccine with excellent safety and efficiency.본 발명은 뉴캐슬병 바이러스 및 이를 포함하는 뉴캐슬병 바이러스용 백신에 관한 것으로서, 구체적으로는 유전자가 서열번호 1에 나타낸 아미노산 서열 또는 그와 96% 이상 상동성을 가지는 아미노산 서열로 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 뉴캐슬병 바이러스와 이를 포함하는 백신, 이를 특이적으로 인식하는 항체, 상기 항체를 포함하는 뉴캐슬병 바이러스 진단용 조성물, 뉴캐슬병 바이러스의 진단에 관한 정보를 제공하는 방법 및 키트에 관한 것이다.본 발명의 뉴캐슬병 바이러스는 기존의 상용화 생백신보다 저병원성을 갖고 있어 뉴캐슬병 생백신으로 사용하기에 매우 안전하며, 역가, 방어율 및 지속성이 더욱 우수하므로 안전성 및 유효성이 뛰어난 백신으로 활용할 수 있다.
