PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To distinguish whether to be an intended input and to control operations in an electric toothbrush having an operation part which is a contact type sensor part.SOLUTION: The electric toothbrush 1 is provided with: a body part 2, a portion of which is grasped by a user and a brush component 21 that is exchangeably attached to the body part. The body part includes: a switch SW of the contact type sensor part which is arranged at a part excluding the part to be grasped and is for receiving an operation from the outside and the control part for controlling the operation of the electric toothbrush according to the operation received by the contact type sensor part.
