The present invention relates to a birdcage type MRI reception end RF coil having a single leg capacitor and a method for manufacturing the same. The birdcage type MRI reception end RF coil having a single leg capacitor comprises a housing which is made of a hollowed cylindrical transparent plastic material； a coil sheet which is attached to the circumference of the side surface of the housing in a cylindrical shape, includes end coils formed in the upper end and the lower end in the horizontal direction and a plurality of coil legs (250) vertically connected to the end coil, and is patterned in a strip type on a flexible printed circuit board by forming gaps in the center of the coil legs and the end coils located among the coil legs； a capacitor which is mounted on the gaps formed in the coil legs and the end coils； and a detuning circuit which is installed in at least one end coil and changes impedance to be detuned. With the above simple structure and constitutions, the present invention is able to form a uniform internal magnetic field, generate a resonant frequency of a good quality and increase the receiving sensibility to provide the RF coil for an MRI system having high performance of improving an NMR imaging quality. Furthermore, the present invention provides a method for manufacturing the RF coil which is capable of improving the output stability of an electromagnetic element and is easy for a mass production.본 발명은 단일 다리 캐패시터를 갖는 새장형 MRI 수신단 RF 코일 및 그 제조방법에 관한 것으로, 중공된 원통형 투광성 플락스틱 소재의 하우징； 상기 하우징 측면 둘레에 원통형으로 부착되는 것으로, 상단 및 하단에 형성된 수평 방향의 단부 코일과, 상기 단부 코일을 수직으로 연결되는 다수의 코일 다리(250)로 구성하되, 상기 다수의 코일 다리 중심과 상기 코일 다리 사이에 위치한 단부 코일에 갭을 형성하여 연성 인쇄회로기판에 스트립 형태로 패터닝된 코일시트； 상기 코일 다리 및 단부 코일에 형성된 갭에 장착되는 캐패시터； 상기 어느 하나의 단부 코일에 설치되는 것으로, 임피던스를 변화시켜 이조(detuning) 시키기 위한 이조 회로(detuning circuit)을 포함하여 구성된다.이와 같은 본 발명은 간단한 구조 및 구성으로 균일한 내부 자기장을 형성하고, 양질의 공진 주파수 생성 및 수신 감도를 높여 NMR 이미징의 화질을 개선할 수 있는 높은 성능의 MRI 시스템 용 RF 코일을 제공할 뿐만 아니라, 전자기적 소자의 출력 안정성을 높일 수 있는 RF 코일의 대
