The present invention is related to an extract with a high content of acetogenins obtained from the fruit of plants of the Persea spp genus, the obtention method and use thereof in antiplatelet compositions and food supplements. The application proposed in the present invention for the Persea spp. Acetogenins, has never been described before and the importance thereof lies in that the platelets have a main role in the formation and development of the atherosclerotic plaque and the formation of thrombus. The acute myocardial infarctions and strokes are mainly caused by the obstruction of the blood stream that transports nutrients and oxygen to the heart and brain, associated to the atherothrombosis. This is the reason why the cardiovascular diseases represent the main cause of death at national and international level.La presente invención se relaciona con un extracto con alto contenido de acetogeninas obtenido a partir del fruto de plantas del género Persea spp, su método de obtención y su uso en composiciones anti-agregantes plaquetarias y suplemento alimenticio. La aplicación propuesta en la presente invención para las acetogeninas de Persea spp., nunca ha sido descrita previamente y su importancia radica en que las plaquetas tienen un rol fundamental en la formación y desarrollo de la placa aterosclerótica, así como la formación de trombos. Y que los infartos agudos al miocardio y las embolias son causados principalmente por la obstrucción del flujo sanguíneo que transporta nutrientes y oxigeno al corazón y cerebro, asociado a la aterotrombosis. Razón por la cual las enfermedades cardiovasculares (ECV) representan la principal causa de muerte a nivel mundial y nacional.
