A method is described for positioning a guide tube on a plate to bepositioned over a patient's mandible or maxilla, forming a surgical guide thatallows for positioning the guide tube on the exact position so as to enablethedrilling of a perfect hole in the patient's bone portion and the subsequentpositioning of an implant exactly on the planned spot. A tomographicreference support is described for fixing a guide tube positioning device, anda guide tube positioning device is described for positioning one or moreguide tubes on an acrylic plate or the like, configuring a surgical guide.
