PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fishing rod enabling easy measurement of the weight of a fish at the fishing site.SOLUTION: The fishing rod has a coil spring 6, extending between a tip-side rod member 2 and a grip-side rod member 1 and exerting to return the members to a standard position which is the starting point of the relative movement of both members.
