The present invention provides an inflatable fusion device that can be mounted within an intervertebral disc space to maintain normal disc space and restore spinal stability, thereby facilitating intervertebral fusion. In one embodiment, the fusion device includes a body portion, a first end plate, and a second end plate, wherein the first and second end plates are moved away from the body portion and inflated.
