Also discloses a method for modifying expression in a plant cell or plant the method comprising transforming the plant cell with the polynucleotide generated by steps (a) to (e) as disclosed. Also disclosed are genetically modified plants, seeds or tissues, transformed by the method as disclosed. SEQ NO: 1 or 7 are derived from ryegrass (Lolium perenne cv. Bronsyn) promoter polynucleotides.
