PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article that makes it possible to smoothly move wearer's feet while improving a fitting property of three-dimensional gathers so as not to cause a gap between an area around the feet and the three-dimensional gathers.SOLUTION: There is provided an absorbent article comprising: an absorbent main body 4 including a front face sheet 1, a back face sheet 2, and an absorber 3 interposed between both sheets； and a pair of three-dimensional gathers 41 and 41 disposed in the longer direction on both sides in the width direction of the absorbent main body 4, the three-dimensional gathers being capable of being erected. The pair of three-dimensional gathers 41 and 41 include an uneven area 44 on the outside of each gather, the uneven area including recesses 45 and salients 46 repeatedly arranged in the longer direction and in the width direction of the three-dimensional gathers 41.
