PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for selecting a microorganism which recognizes and promotes proliferation of a compound having a catecholamine structure such as catecholamine existing in living bodies of animals and plants； and to provide a composition containing a compound having a catecholamine structure and having a reaction of promoting proliferation of pro-biotic lactobacillus.SOLUTION: The method of selecting a microorganism, which recognizes and promotes proliferation of a compound having a catecholamine structure, has been developed. Then, the microorganism, which recognizes and promotes proliferation of a compound having a catecholamine structure, is disclosed.
