PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article in which an uneven structure of a surface sheet can easily follow a motion of a wearer, air permeability on a skin facing surface side is excellent, and stuffiness in a worn state hardly occurs.SOLUTION: A surface sheet 2 is made of a non-woven fabric 1 with an uneven structure, in which stripe-shaped projections 13 and recesses 14 extending in a longitudinal direction are arranged alternately in a width direction Y. The surface sheet is joined to an adjacent lower side sheet 6 in the recesses 14. The non-woven fabric 1 is made of at least a high-elongation fiber. The lower side sheet 6 is made of an aggregate of thermoplastic resin fibers. The projection 13 has a hollow structure. A fiber density of a side area 14c of the projection 13 is lower than a fiber density of an apex area 13a and a fiber density of a bottom area 13b.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
