A pump comprises a case with its upper portion being compressible relatively to a lower portion of the case while in operation, a variable-volume chamber integrated in the case and manually compressible in a number of positions, a constant-volume chamber integrated in the case and connected to the variable-volume chamber, and a filter case assembly integrated in the case between the constant-volume chamber and the variable-volume chamber, and comprising a hydrophobic filter which prevents fluid from flowing into the variable-volume chamber. The constant-volume chamber has low pressure which is applied to a tissue area in response to motion of the variable-volume chamber from the compressed position specified from the number of positions, into the non-compressed position specified from the number of positions.
