PURPOSE: A small medical sterilization device is provided to sterilize medical appliances within a short time and to remove ozone created through an ozone filter. CONSTITUTION: A small medical sterilization device comprises a sterilization chamber(100), a plasma generation unit(301), a spray nozzle(401), an ozone filter(501), and a connection unit(202). The sterilization chamber is sealed by a door. The plasma generation unit is equipped on one side of the sterilization chamber and generates low temperature atmospheric pressure plasma. The spray nozzle is equipped inside the sterilization chamber and sprays. The connection unit makes medical appliances detachable. The ozone filter removes ozone from the sterilization chamber.본 발명은 저온 대기압 플라즈마를 이용한 의료용 소형 멸균장치에 관한 것이다. 본 발명에 따르면, 멸균챔버 내에 물 또는 저농도 과산화수소를 미세입자로 분무하고, 멸균챔버 내에 형성된 플라즈마 발생부를 통해 공기, 물, 과산화수소 등이 플라즈마화되면서 오존과 OH라디칼 등의 강한 산화력을 가지는 멸균가스가 생성되고, 이에 의해 멸균챔버 내에 놓여진 의료기구의 표면을 멸균하고, 내부에 관을 형성하고 있는 핸드피스, 내시경, 카테터 등과 같은 의료기구는 멸균챔버 일측면에 형성된 연결부에 부착하고, 멸균챔버 외부의 펌프를 통해 멸균가스를 순환시켜서 의료기구 내의 관으로 멸균가스를 주입함으로써 의료기구의 내부관을 멸균하는 것을 특징으로 한다.
