A handle fastening coupling, preferably for household andgardening implements comprises a guide piece (12) that ispressed into a handle-tube end and has an elongated guidechannel (14) for a handle insert pin (3), which has a firstend fastened to the implement and second free end, whereinthe second end has a lock opening (6)； and a lockingelement (20) that is preloaded by a latch spring (18) in afirst radial direction perpendicular to the handle axis andthat is designed to snap into the lock opening of thehandle insert pin, wherein the locking element can be movedout of the lock opening in the radial direction by anoperating button in order to release the handle insert pin(3) to pull it out of the guide channel, is characterizedin that at least one pressure cam (7) that is elasticallypreloaded toward the inside in the radial direction isarranged adjacent to the lock opening (6) in the guidechannel (14) of the guide piece (12), which is designed toexert radial forces at an angle to the first radialdirection onto a handle insert pin (3) inserted into theguide channel (14).
