摘要:
Plastic noise barrier has a number of plant mouldings held together horizontally by support members and arranged terrace-fashion one on top of another, so that they form a space which attenuates upwards and holds a substrate infill. The plant mouldings are pot-shaped with U-sides, and the horizontal members are connecting planks. The prod. is a stack of plant mouldings (1) placed on successive connecting planks (3) laid on levelled ground. Each such plant has end features which lock on to the top of the plank beneath, except the bottom-most plank which rests on the ground. The mouldings (1) in one layer are laid side by side with lugs and recesses in the sides to fit together and remain in position. The top rims of adjacent plant mouldings (1) fit together into a corresp. slot on the underside of the plank above. The ends of the planks rise somewhat so as the hold the moudlings also. USE/ADVANTAGE - The construction is free-standing. It consists of only a few easily handled parts. It is assembled without metallic binding straps, etc.
