This laser scanning imaging device is provided with: a laser light generating device (11) a scanning illumination optical system (20) that scans laser light on the back of the eye (Er) and a light receiving optical system (40) that receives reflected light reflected from the back of the eye (Er). The scanning illumination optical system (20) has a resonant scanner (25) that scans the laser light back and forth, and the resonant scanner (25) outputs a timing signal according to the back and forth scanning of the laser light. Frame images are constructed on the basis of forward path scanning images obtained by the forward scanning of the laser light by the resonant scanner (25) and return scanning images obtained by return scanning of that laser light, from a received light signal of a light receiving sensor (44) in a light receiving optical system (40). A period measuring unit that measures the period of the timing signal is provided.
